Core Services
That IVC valves and penstocks have been working in hundreds of installation satisfactorily for 2 – 3 decades is testimony to its ruggedness and excellent design. The sound footings that support IVC’s design structure is easily traceable to two British Companies of yore, Blakeborough (1828) and Glenfield (1852). And in the 5 decades of IVC’s operation within and outside India for a wide range of applications, today we claim to know a little.
DESIGNInstances of system / valve failure due to inappropriate selection vis-à-vis application is common place, in most cases this is evident after the failure has taken place.
IVC, with its five decades of exposure and experience is in a position to suggest valve type (design, trim material and pressure rating) that could perform satisfactorily over a long period of time.
CASE STUDIESEven though this is for the systems engineer to design, operator capability and availability of local support is often ignored in favour of complex designs involving several sub-systems to operate a valve. We believe something that is simple, time tested and proven in service is more often than not the right solution.
VALVE SELECTIONInception
With over 5 decades in the design and manufacture of valves and penstocks, myriads of satisfied customers within and outside the country, Indian Valve together with their overseas technology associates, look forward, with renewed vigour, to the exciting prospects of associating with discerning customers, consultants, contracting companies and Organisations.
CSR
Each year village Shivshet in Peth taluka of Maharashtra, an Adivasi dominated hamlet, 74km from Nasik, "IVC's" home, suffers from acute water shortage post monsoon. Young men migrate to Nasik city in search of work, leaving the old, women folk, children and cattle to fend for themselves. Despite abundant rainfall, the runoff down a natural slope towards the Dang forest is almost instantaneous.
