Our Approach
Continuous interaction with end users, consultants, operators and contractors involved in water supply, waste water/ sewage/ effluent treatment from different geographical locations is instrumental in providing IVC's design team a thorough grasp of what is called for. Solid works 3D software and home grown algorithm driven program is used extensively to conceive, design and draw up new products and their variants and this is clearly reflected in the innovative design that makes IVC products good value for money. Some of these designs are honed further by assessing valve characteristics vis-a-vis virtual flow using high end CFD software. Ideas and suggestions from many different countries are also considered in order to obtain the most optimal product suitable for specific application or market.
That IVC valves and penstocks have been working in hundreds of installations satisfactorily for 2 – 3 decades is testimony to its ruggedness and excellent design. The sound footings that support IVC’s design structure is easily traceable to two British Companies of yore, Blakeborough (1828) and Glenfield (1852). And in the 5 decades of IVC’s operation within and outside India for a wide range of applications, today we claim to know a little.
